Her educational background includes a Masters of Science in Tourism at the International School of Tourism Sciences in Rome, Italy; a Certificate in Destination Management at George Washington University in Washington, DC; a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Certificate in Microcomputer programming at the City University of New York at Queens College in Flushing, NY.
Ms. Walwyn has been at the helm, both locally and regionally in organizing major events which include the Annual St. Kitts Music Festival, 2000 Caribbean Festival of Arts (CARIFESTA VII), and major international conferences including the 10th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association Conference 2005, The 5th Caribbean Tourism Organization Sustainable Conference 2003, The 33rd Annual Caribbean Development Bank Conference 2003 and The Black Psychiatrist of America Inc. 2006.
