Dr. Christine A. Walwyn is a Marketing Specialist with over seventeen years of experience in Destination Marketing and Management, coupled with experience in, Events Implementation and Data Management who has created a forte in planning and execution of projects.  

 

Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Business at Bernelli University; Masters of Science in Tourism at the International School of Tourism Sciences in Rome, Italy; a Certificate in Destination Management at George Washington University in Washington, DC; a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Certificate in Microcomputer Programming at the City University of New York at Queens College in Flushing, NY.  

 

Dr. Walwyn has been at the helm, both locally and regionally in organizing major events which include the Annual St. Kitts Music Festival, 2000 Caribbean Festival of Arts (CARIFESTA VII), and major international conference including the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere (2013) and the Climate Change Conferences (2011), European Union Caribbean Indigenous Bank Conferences (2009 & 2012), Commonwealth Games Federation General Assembly (2011), the Black Psychiatrist of America, Inc. (2006), 10th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association Conference –FCCA (2005), the 5th Caribbean Tourism Organization Sustainable Conference (2003), and the 33rd Annual Caribbean Development Bank Conference (2003).  She has done research for Organization of American States (OAS), UN Women and Caribbean Development Bank on Gender Analysis.
